Terms of Service
Welcome to Effortless Concierge. These Terms of Service explain the rules that apply when you use our website, submit a service request, book services, or otherwise use services provided by Effortless Concierge, LLC (“Effortless Concierge,” “Effortless,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using this website or requesting or booking services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services.
1. Services Requests & Confirmation
Submitting a request does not confirm a booking. All requests are subject to availability, service area, timing, and the type of support requested. A service is confirmed only after Effortless provides confirmation.
2. Pricing & Payment
Pricing is based on the service selected, scope of work, location, and any approved add-ons. Purchases, third-party charges, tolls, parking, or other approved expenses are separate from the Effortless service fee unless specifically stated otherwise. Payment may be required before service is confirmed.
3. Changes, Cancellations & Rescheduling
Clients should provide as much notice as possible when cancelling or rescheduling. Applicable cancellation or refund terms are described in the Effortless Cancellation & Refund Policy.
4. Client Information & Access
Clients are responsible for providing accurate service details, instructions, contact information, and any necessary access arrangements. Effortless will only access information for the approved service and will take reasonable steps to protect private client information.
5. Errands, Shopping & Client Purchases
Clients are responsible for the cost of merchandise, groceries, supplies, third-party charges, and other approved purchases. These costs are separate from Effortless Concierge service fees unless specifically stated otherwise.
For Grocery Shopping, Personal Shopping, or any service requiring purchases, the client must approve the estimated purchase amount and provide any required purchase funds before shopping begins. Effortless may collect a reasonable additional contingency amount to account for taxes, substitutions, price changes, or other expected variations.
Effortless will not knowingly make purchases beyond the amount collected or otherwise approved without additional client authorization and payment. Effortless is not required to advance personal funds on behalf of a client.
Any unused purchase funds will be reconciled after the service and, when applicable, returned through the original payment method. Receipts and purchase documentation will be provided or retained as appropriate.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that any payment method used is authorized by the cardholder. Effortless may pause, decline, or cancel a service if payment authorization cannot reasonably be verified, a transaction presents unusual payment risk, or Effortless receives notice that a payment may have been unauthorized. Relevant transaction, authorization, communication, and service records may be retained and provided to the payment processor, financial institution, card network, insurer, or other appropriate party in connection with a payment dispute or fraud review.
6. Home & Property Services
Home check-ins, mail/package checks, home wait services, and related support are limited to the agreed scope. Effortless does not provide home inspection, security, property management, emergency response, or repair services.
7. Senior Support
Senior Check-Ins and Caregiver Break Support are non-medical concierge and companionship services only. Effortless does not provide nursing, personal care, bathing, dressing, medication administration, medical supervision, emergency medical services, or client transportation.
8. Pet Transport
Pet transport is limited to approved pets and service conditions. Clients are responsible for providing accurate information regarding pet's health, temperament, and transportation needs and for following Effortless carrier/crate requirements.
9. Notary & Loan Signing Services
Notary and loan signing services are provided within the scope permitted by Virginia law and applicable notarial requirements. Effortless does not provide legal advice.
10. Document Organization Services
Household Document Organization and Document & Asset Organization are administrative organization services. Effortless does not provide legal, tax, financial, appraisal, accounting, or estate-planning advice. Prices shown for these services are starting prices only. Information submitted through the request form is preliminary and is used for initial planning. A complimentary consultation or assessment is required before final pricing and booking. Final pricing is based on the actual scope, volume, condition, complexity, and materials involved. Effortless may decline, phase, or rescope a project if the actual work is larger, more complex, or materially different from what was initially described.
11. Gift Wrapping
Gift Wrapping package prices include regular wrapping paper and basic finishing. Additional charges may apply for gift bags and tissue paper, premium finishing, oversized or unusually shaped gifts, rush service, and requested materials. Pickup and return within the standard service area are included in the package price.
12. Delays & Circumstances Outside Our Control
Arrival times and service completion may be affected by traffic, weather, road conditions, accidents, closures, vendor delays, or other circumstances outside Effortless's reasonable control. Clients will be notified when a meaningful delay occurs.
13. Confidentiality
Effortless respects the privacy of client households and information encountered while providing services and will take reasonable steps to keep non-public client information confidential.
14. Service Limitations
Effortless may decline or discontinue a request that is unsafe, unlawful, outside the agreed scope, outside the service area, or otherwise inappropriate for the business.
